Yorkshire International Business Convention - 5th June 2009

We changed the format, gave the convention a “Can Do” theme and our speakers delivered.

Tim Smit got us off to a great start – inspirational and humorous. Tracy Edwards shared her triumphs and recovery from bankruptcy. Tim Sanders is always an inspiration and can’t do enough on the day. John Cleese gave us a master class in creative thinking – serious but not sombre. Thanks to Dave Parkin for hosting our business panel followed by the wonderful humour of Matt. What a lovely man!

Finally a bizarre but brilliant presentation from Dave Stewart. This guy messes with your mind. He turns conventional thinking upside down, inside out, and through triple somersaults. Thank goodness he gave our brain cells a rest by composing a song - check it out via the following link: Convention Song.
