Welcome to our 2008 Convention Website

My thanks to everyone who attended our 2008 convention and to those who took time to complete the Evaluation Forms. The majority view was that we had our best speaker line up to date.

Thanks to Rory Bremner for a great start and some original material. Sir Bob is probably one of the best orators in the world and your marks reflected that. George Foreman and Richard Reed were highly rated and Phil Ashby was inspirational.

You told us that the auditorium got too hot and we can't blame Elle Macpherson entirely for that! We will find a solution for next year. We also noted that the seat comfort needs to be improved.

The satellite link with Harrogate is frustrating. We don't want to drop this as it connects us to our parallel event and we share the opening speaker.
