Welcome to our 2008 Convention website

My thanks to everyone who attended our 2008 Convention and to those who took time to complete the Evaluation Forms.

The majority feedback was that we had an excellent speaker line up.

Rory Bremner got us off to a great start with some original material. Ken Hames was inspirational. George Foreman and Richard Reed scored the best marks but John Howard's forthright style was appreciated by most people. It's a refreshing change to hear a politician, present or former, speak so candidly.

You told us that the auditorium got too hot - We will find a remedy for next year. (We can't place all the blame on Elle Macpherson's appearance.)

We also noted that seat comfort needs to be improved. Requests for a mid morning break is difficult due to the time it takes to exit and return.

The satellite link to Hull is frustrating. We don't want to drop this as it does connect us to our parallel event and we share the opening speaker.
